If you are newly diagnosed, RareConnect is a patient-led platform that can help you find a community specific to your disease. Through this resource, you can share symptoms, stories, and treatment experiences with others. If you can’t find your disease community on their platform, you can start your own for others to join.
RareConnect operates on a global level, and can help provide translation services to help you properly connect to others who live in other countries. Moderators of each community are those that also have a rare disease. Those at RareConnect belong to the following non-profit organizations: EURORDIS- Rare Diseases Europe and Care4Rare Canada.
